The Eye of Vichy French Lil de Vichy is a 1993 film directed by Claude Chabrol. The documentary is about propaganda produced by Nazioccupied France during World War II from 1940 to 1944. The film documents the proNazi sentiments of Philippe Ptains Vichy regime and its efforts to spread propaganda against both the Allied Forces and the Jews. It contains authentic newsreels, advertisements, and featurefilm footage produced by the Nazis and their collaborators.
